Raven king

Raven King is the 2017-2018 Black Law Students Association’s President. She is a 3L and Entertainment, Arts, and Sport Law LL.M student at the University of Miami School of Law who aspires to be a Sport and Entertainment Attorney. She is involved in numerous organizations on campus aside from BLSA, including the Entertainment and Sport Law Society, Miami Law Women, W.O.K.E., the Society of Bar and Gavel, and Honor Council. She is also a research assistant for Dean Stewart working on a non-profit organization for foster youth. In her spare time she thoroughly enjoys writing with elementary school kids in the Books and Buddies program, tutoring with Empowered Youth, mentoring minority, underprivileged youth, volunteering at domestic violence shelters, and working on issues that affect the Black Community
