Jeremy L. Thompson, Esq.

Jeremy L. Thompson, Esq. is an Attorney Advisor at the U.S. Department of Justice, Executive Office for Immigration Review and an adjunct faculty member at Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad College of Law.  Jeremy received his Juris Doctor and Master’s Degree from Florida International University.  He received his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Louisville.  While at FIU College of Law, Jeremy served as the National Director of Education and Career Development for the National Black Law Students Association.  Additionally, Jeremy has published three law review articles: Dismantling the School-to-Prison Pipeline: South Florida’s Approach in the Harvard Law and Policy Review; Eliminating Zero-Tolerance Policies in Public Schools: Miami-Dade Public School’s Approach in the Brigham Young University Law and Education Journal; and Dismantling the Sexual Abuse-to-Prison Pipeline in the Thurgood Marshall Law Review.

 

Jeremy is a proud member of Iota Phi Theta Fraternity, Inc., where he served as the Executive Assistant to the Grand President and founded the Eta Sigma Chapter at FIU and the Theta Mu Chapter at the Universidad de Technological del Choco Diego Luis Cordoba in Quibdo, Colombia.
