Debbie Satyal joined Adams and Reese in 2017 as Special Counsel in our Fort Lauderdale office. She is a member of our Banking/Financial Services Practice Team. An attorney for nearly a decade, Debbie defends financial institutions, servicers and other businesses in a variety of residential and commercial real estate litigation matters. She is experienced in handling litigation matters arising out of title defects, foreclosures, defensive litigation, federal regulatory compliance and landlord-tenant law. She has also handled litigation related to bankruptcy as well as immigration law.

In the legal community, Debbie has been active in the South Asian Bar Association of Florida for many years, including serving as its President, Vice President, as a member of the Board of Directors and as Treasurer. She serves as Finance Chair of the New Leaders Council, Palm Beach and is a member of the Florida Nepal Association.

Debbie earned her J.D. from Boston College Law School. While a law student, she was a member of the National Mock Trial Team and served as Co-Chair for the Law Student Association Committee. She was also a recipient of the Boston Law School Alumni Association Scholarship, the William O’Keefe Commencement Award and the Commitment to Change University Award.

Debbie earned her M.A. in Political Science from Florida Atlantic University and served as lead teaching assistant during her Master’s Program. She received her B.A. as a dual major in Public Relations and Political Science from the University of Florida.
